@lidias I live in Austin so I can head either direction. Maybe between Port Aransas and Corpus Christi. Probably not south of Padre.
I want to take a trip to the Texas Coast this summer. Where should I start? Are the whooping cranes still there in the summer?
I also have a female cardinal nesting in a tree behind my house. She hasn't moved in three days.
Never seen a bird emerge from an old purple martin house in my neighborhood in the three years I've watched it. Today I saw 3 martins in it.
